As a family photographer, I want what we all want in this life: to freeze time. Being able to capture a single passing moment in time that may have otherwise been forgotten is one of my my favorite things about my job! With our phones attached to us and the ability to take a photo at any given moment, we can all relate to the desire to live in the present. That is where I come in - enjoy these fleeting moments with your family and allow me to take the photos that will never let you forget this season of your life. This is your story and I would be so grateful to help you tell it.
My approach to family photography is documenting the season of life you're currently in and the connection between the people you love most. Capturing your family in their element is so important to my work which is why I always strive to create a laid back environment for your truest selves to show up for the session. I don't rely on a checklist of poses to cross off and instead allow real moments to unfold. But, don't worry - I'll never leave you hanging and am always encouraging connection and providing guidance throughout our time together. I always hope that you'll end the session feeling that it was way more fun that you expected!

You read a little bit about me and my approach and feel like we would be a good fit for each other. Fill out the contact form to tell me a little more about yourself and any specific dates or locations you have in mind for your session. If there are any other details you want to provide that would help me photograph your family better you can include that all there!
Find a date and pay the deposit -
After receiving your inquiry, you can expect to hear back from me within 1-2 days to discuss any additional details for your session and send available dates. We choose a date, time, and location that works for both of us and I send over a session proposal. The proposal includes a contract and invoice. The contract goes over session details, my cancellation policy, the option to consent to use your photos on my social media platforms/website, and a few spots to fill out some additional contact information from you if needed. The invoice will have two payments listed - one for the deposit which is due upon receipt to officially reserve your session date and the second is the final payment that is due the day of the session. You can use the link to the proposal to pay the invoice right online!
Session day -
Your session is here and you are ready to have fun creating memories with your family! If your session is in home, I may ask for a little tour of the house to give everyone time to warm up and to see where we will spend time shooting.
Gallery delivery -
You can expect to receive your digital gallery via email within 2-3 weeks of the session. Images are high resolution and are ready to be printed and shared as you wish.
