As a family photographer, I want what we all want in this life: to freeze time. Being able to capture a single passing moment in time that may have otherwise been forgotten is one of my my favorite things about my job! With our phones attached to us and the ability to take a photo at any given moment, we can all relate to the desire to live in the present. That is where I come in - enjoy these fleeting moments with your family and allow me to take the photos that will never let you forget this chapter of your life. My approach to family photography is documenting the real you, the season of life you're currently in, and the ways that make your family so special and unique. Trust me, it's not about perfect smiles and a checklist of poses to cross off during our time together, but rather genuine emotions and connection between the people you love most. The imperfect moments are truly perfect to me! Capturing your family in their element is what I strive for and in order to do that I create a laid back environment during your session that gives you and your kids permission to let loose and trust the process. Part of this means me stepping back and observing moments for what they really are instead of micromanaging each minute we have with each other.

Find a date and pay the deposit -
After receiving your inquiry, you can expect to hear back from me within 1-2 days to discuss any additional details for your session and send available dates. We choose a date, time, and location that works for both of us and I send over a session proposal. The proposal includes a contract and invoice. The contract goes over session details, my cancellation policy, the option to consent to use your photos on my social media platforms/website, and a few spots to fill out some additional contact information from you if needed. The invoice will have two payments listed - one for the deposit which is due upon receipt to officially reserve your session date and the second is the final payment that is due the day of the session. You can use the link to the proposal to pay the invoice right online!

I'll send over a questionnaire about a month before your session that helps me get to know you and your family a little better and to understand how I can photograph you all best. Do you have any specific inspiration or hopes for the session? What is this season of life like for you? You can tell me all about it on the questionnaire or if you prefer to answer the questions over Facetime we can definitely make that happen!
Session day! -
Your session is here and you are feeling relaxed and stress-free because this is time to just have fun and connect with your family. I have all of the information I need to ensure these photos are emotive, full of heart, and that tell your story honestly.
Gallery delivery -
You can expect to receive your digital gallery via email within 2-3 weeks of the session. Images are high resolution and are ready to be printed and shared as you wish.
